BlackRock has served Canadian clients for more than 30 years through BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited, which manages the iShares ETFs listed on the TSX, including the iShares Core ETF portfolios (XEQT, XGRO, XBAL) and the RBC iShares alliance products. It says it manages over C$500 billion for Canadian clients and works with more than 220 Canadian pension plans, alongside defined contribution and Aladdin risk-technology work for Canadian institutions. Its Canadian offices are in Toronto (161 Bay Street) and Montreal. Katherine Tweedie, formerly of Ninety One, became Country Head of Canada in summer 2026.
