CRIMSON Asset Management is an independent, investor-led Toronto firm co-founded by Ken Jesudian, former CEO of Burgundy Asset Management, and Anthony Ferrari, a former Burgundy partner. It runs one strategy: a concentrated portfolio of 20 to 30 U.S. small-cap stocks, marketed to Canadian and U.S. investors as a specialist second manager; Bloomberg reported the fund's inception as 2018. The team is very small (three named executives plus a research team), so opportunities are rare and likely to be research-analyst roles for people interested in fundamental U.S. small-cap investing.
A single fund that narrows a universe of about 11,000 U.S. small caps to a focus list of roughly 200 and a portfolio of 20 to 30 holdings bought at a margin of safety.

Reasons that work in interviews
Expect the real question underneath to be “why this strategy”, then “why this platform within it”. Have a view on long/short versus multi-manager versus event-driven before you have a view on the firm, and bring one idea you can defend.
There is little reliable public material on Crimson Asset Management, and an answer assembled from a homepage will not survive a founding partner. Build it from one named transaction, who you would report to, and why you want a team this small.
Establish first: the strategy, assets under management and team, then build the answer from the philosophy they state.

Canadian funds take students in ones and twos and almost never post it. The way in is a pitch: a name you can argue, sent to somebody who reads it. BSO has not confirmed a timetable for Crimson Asset Management on an official page: this records that the intake exists and what the category's cycle looks like, not a published date. Confirm with the firm before you plan around it.
