Ironbridge Equity Partners is a Toronto private equity firm co-founded in September 2005 that invests only in Canadian-headquartered middle-market companies, mostly in traditional industries such as manufacturing, distribution, and consumer and business products and services. It manages more than $700 million, writes equity cheques of roughly $20–60 million into businesses with at least $8 million of EBITDA, and avoids technology, real estate, natural resources and fashion. The firm is small (13 investment professionals per its April 2026 release) and recently completed a leadership succession, with Andrew Walton becoming President in September 2025. For students, it is a single-office, generalist mid-market shop whose careers page currently says it is not actively hiring.
