Kluane Partners is a Calgary-based boutique investment bank and advisory firm that works on M&A, debt advisory and restructuring, and general financial advisory for private companies and their lenders. A large share of its work is special situations: distressed-debt and recapitalization advice, refinancing, CRO services, and helping lenders and private equity owners deal with troubled borrowers. The firm says its team has advised on more than 50 transactions, and it is run by a three-person senior team led by founding partner Charles Bougie. It is one of the few Calgary-based options for students interested in restructuring and debt advisory.
