Ninepoint Partners was formed in 2017 when James Fox and John Wilson led a management buyout of Sprott's Canadian diversified asset management business. It is independent and employee-owned, reports more than $8 billion in assets and institutional contracts and over 90 employees, and sells mainly through investment advisors and to institutions. Best known for Eric Nuttall's energy fund and its alternative income products, it has since added an ETF platform and an AGF-alumni growth equity team.
