Slate is a Toronto-headquartered alternative investment firm co-founded in 2005 by brothers Blair and Brady Welch, who serve as Co-CEOs. It invests in and manages essential real estate (notably grocery-anchored retail), real estate credit and lower-middle-market infrastructure across North America and Europe, with about 83 employees. For Canadian candidates it is a small, entrepreneurial shop: Toronto is its only Canadian office, and it runs a two-year rotational Analyst Program and a Seasonal Analyst internship.
