Tricor Pacific Capital is a Vancouver-based family office that invests its own capital in long-term majority stakes in mature businesses and real estate. Co-founded by Rod Senft in 1996, it raised a series of institutional private equity funds (Funds I to V on its history page) before becoming a single-family office in 2015, when its institutional fund business was rebranded as Parallel49 Equity. It targets companies with $5–25 million of EBITDA across Canada and the Midwest and western US, and reports 20+ active portfolio companies and 100+ acquisitions since inception; its most recent deal was the July 2026 purchase of Calgary-based Arctec Alloys. For recruits, it is a small Vancouver deal team (two Managing Directors, two Principals and two Senior Associates on the team page) with an owner's long-hold mindset rather than a fund cycle.
