Reasons that work in interviews
4 reasons for AIMCo
The governance and leadership overhaul makes this an institution in reset, which means strategy is being rewritten rather than maintained: say plainly that you want to join something being rebuilt.
Alberta-based, so this is the primary route into institutional investing without relocating east.
Broad mandate across public and private markets for a diverse set of provincial clients, which is a different structure from a single-plan fund.
Smaller than the largest Maple 8 funds, so an investment professional is closer to decisions.
